No one got a perfect score in the Sweet 16 games. Among the Top 8 of our leaderboard, 2nd-place UM Ftball Tiger did the best – 6 of 8 -- losing, along with most of the rest of us, North Carolina & Michigan. Mike 77 was the only one of the Top 8 to pick Texas Tech, but his Tennessee and Houston picks are also gone.

AEOS, Motley Blazer and I did the worst of the Top 8: only 4 of our 8 picks remain for the Elite 8 contests. But when you look at the points potential for the last three rounds, AEOS is tops with 360, thanks to his pick of 2-seed Kentucky to win it all. (He was the only contestant to pick a non-#1 seed to win.)

I’m next with a potential for 260 more points -- despite missing two predicted Elite 8 winners (Tennessee & Florida State) -- thanks to my picking Kentucky to make it to the championship game. The potentials for the rest of the Top 8 are 220 for UMFtball, Mike77 and Tiki Owl; 180 for USM72 – who has the highest NCAA round score to date (524); 160 for Motley Blazer, and 140 for manarchfan91, who has lost his champion pick (North Carolina).

No one in the entire contest has all of their Elite 8 winners left. Missing just 1 in the Top 8 are UMFtball (UNC), AEOS (Fla. St.) and Mike77 (Houston).

No one picked Auburn to win its Sweet 16 game. But if someone HAD picked Auburn to win it all … and they won the NCAA title … then the Tigers’ last four victories would have been worth a whopping 750 points! That would have been enough to vault the 11th-place contestant (UnderMiner) into the lead!

Good luck to all!
