After a summer of changes and uncertainty amid the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the UAB football team is locked in and ready to play this fall.

UAB searching for new foe after SWAC postpones season

The UAB football program is in the market for a new Week 2 opponent this season.
Due to the effect of the coronavirus, the SWAC announced Monday that it was postponing football until at least the spring semester which leaves the Blazers searching for a replacement for Alabama A&M in the second week of the season. |

Lovan propels UAB to 72-63 victory over Old Dominion

Sophomore Tavin Lovan finished with 23 points and seven rebounds and Alabama-Birmingham closed out the Conference USA regular season with a 72-63 victory over Old Dominion on Saturday.
